Candice Accola talks about what’s to come, including adding her own real life musical talent to the series.

IGN: I saw some pictures from this week’s episode and it looks like we might be hearing your singing voice. So will Caroline Forbes be showing off a talent we haven’t been exposed to as yet?

Accola: I think so, yeah. The pictures I think speak for themselves. Caroline definitely gets on stage and rocks out a little bit. It was just so funny, because when I moved to LA — because that’s why I initially moved to Los Angeles, was to pursue a career in music – and I got signed to a label and did the whole record thing, it was at a time when cross-marketing was just really kind of important and significant to labels, because it was right when all of them were merging and starting to go under, with music being so popular digitally. So they actually asked me to start pushing acting more and to get on a CW show and to sing on a CW show – that would be the ticket! And so it was so funny, because it’s like seven years too late. [Laughs] It’s never too late, but it’s seven years later and to have the opportunity unexpectedly was really, really fun.

While Jeremy is going to start kicking ass and getting all up in everyone’s business on The Vampire Diaries, Damon will be taking a different route.

And who better to explain the hows and the whys of Damon Salvatore than the man who plays him? We’re of course talking about the only-OK-looking Ian Somerhalder, who can describe Damon’s future path in one sentence…
“Damon spends all of his money in strip clubs and whiskey,” Ian tells us with a laugh. “Why not, right?” The best part is he sounds like he’s kidding, but no one would be surprised if Damon dealt with his demons by turning to booze and bimbos.”He had that crazy breakdown, and it’s a little scary when people bottle all their pain up and never let it out. It comes out typically in a negative way and that’s kind of what’s happening with Damon,” Ian says. “He’s just bottling it all up and he never lets it out. It’s not like Damon is going to go to a hot yoga class! No, he’s going to go drink a bottle of booze and he’s going to fight someone or he’s going to compel the hot local newscaster.”

News: Information About LJ Smith’s ‘Alleged’ Firing

Author: Natalie | February 6, 2011 | 0

Filed Under: | Books, L.J. Smith, News

As you know, we, at Blood Falls maintain a no gossip and no paparazzi policy. I like to keep that policy in full effect, which is why we haven’t reported anything about the alleged firing of The Vampire Diaries author, L.J. Smith.

Our friends over at Vampire-Diaries.net do have a post in regards to this and they are hoping to be able to kill or confirm the rumours as quickly as possible. Here is what they had to say about it:

We are aware of the four letters that L.J. Smith has allegedly written to fans stating that she has been fired by HarperTeen/Alloy and will no longer be writing any Vampire Diaries books. We cannot comment on whether or not these are real, or if she has indeed been fired by the publishers.

We are trying to find this information out, and have contacted the publishers for official word on the matter. We will let you know as soon as we hear any kind of official word on the matter. We do ask for you to be patient though, as today is Sunday and we may not hear anything until tomorrow at the earliest when people are back at work.

You can read their full article over here and I’m going to chime in and say the same as them. Do NOT spam Harper Teen. Do NOT spam Alloy Entertainment. Whether or not this rumour is true, we need to respect the decisions made. With that said, I will not allow comments on this post to keep the peace among all fans. Thank you for understanding.
