Smell ya later, Stelena! Delena who?
Leave it to The Vampire Diaries to put together two characters who have never interacted before and make them a couple that fans are freaking out over in just one scene. The new duo everyone’s talking about? Resident baddie Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and everyone’s favorite blonde vampire Caroline (Candice Accola) who’ve had fans asking “Will they or won’t they?” since he saved her life.
We hit the set in Atlanta to get all the scoop on TV’s hottest new supernatural pairing and what they’re up to at ball in this Thursday’s episode! Plus, have we seen the last of Caroline and Tyler (Michael Trevino)?! Here’s what Accola and Morgan tell us…

It looks like Caroline’s dad (Yup, I’m still crying) is only the tip of the death iceberg on Vampire Diaries.
Now that we know the originals are ALL here, and ready to have a ball (literally and figuratively) with the gang from Mystic Falls, I can share with you a fun conversation I had with the lovely Kat Graham while on the set of Vampire Diaries this week, in which we talked a little bit about the episodes (and CHAOS!) to come. “The show is very epic. The storylines move really really quick. [It's] definitely one of the fastest storylines I’ve ever been a fan of watching or that I’ve been involved with. So there will be developments that are going to happen [in every episode],” she says. “The episodes with the originals are going to start reaching a head and you’re not going to know whose going to die and whose going to survive and what plans really are going to work this time. And what plans are going to be stopped and thwarted. So some really massive confrontations are definitely going down… that WILL result in death.”
With no one safe, Graham is simply counting her lucky stars that this year has given her such a meaty and satisfying storyline with her mother (played by Persia White). And while their coffin mission might be over, Graham says the same certainly can’t be said for their mother-daughter issues. “There’s still stuff to hash out,” she says. “If somebody does something to you that really really hurts you and has created a ripple effect in your life, you don’t really forget about that and you have to go back and deal with them. You sort of go back into a protective mode because you feel like they’re going to go back and do it again. So Bonnie feels like her mother has to win her trust.”

Elena and Damon! Elena and Stefan ! Elena and…Matt?!
On The Vampire Diaries, Elena (Nina Dobrev) is torn between two brothers—one who killed her own brother (Ian Somerhalder) and one who almost killed her (Paul Wesley). Oh, and both have tried to turn her into a vampire. Talk about romance! So which brother will she choose…if she chooses at all?
We hit the set of The Vampire Diaries in Atlanta to get all the scoop from the stars about what’s ahead for TV’s hottest triangle…or is it a love square?! Yes, it seems Elena will be doing a little reconnecting with a certain ex-boyfriend….

Do NOT watch the video unless you want to know who is in the coffin. Vampire Diaries 3×14 promo leaked revealing who is in the coffin.
Neither, however, are taking bets on how long it will be until the Elena-Stefan-Damon love triangle will find resolution. “I want what’s going to be the most interesting to happen,” says Somerhalder. “I don’t really know. Julie [Plec] was here for five days and I didn’t get anything out of her. I think Matt or Tyler or even the family dog would have a better chance of getting Elena than Damon would. The things this man has done to this teenage girl, it’s insurmountable amount of bad.”
Of course, that hasn’t stopped uber-baddie Klaus from thinking he might have a chance with Caroline (Candice Accola), whom he’s shown feelings for in recent episodes. For that, EW turned to Accola, who assured that the show is “definitely not rushing through any story lines [between Klaus and Caroline right now]. There are promo pictures of Klaus and Caroline dancing at the ball, but it doesn’t go from 0 to 60 by any means in a romantic way.”
For more on the pair’s budding romance and what fans can look forward to (new characters! another flashback episode! And “a very unsuspecting being that’s creating a lot more turmoil than any viewer might think”) watch our on-set chat with Accola below. (Can you guess where we filmed it?) And stay tuned for more from our quality time with the cast.
